Up for auction are two proxy sites that are different from the standard that are always posted for sale. I've also included plenty of screenshots of traffic stats and revenue for each site (links are in the descriptions). Both sites are low CPU/resource sites and can easily be hosted on shared hosting accounts.
http://FreeProxies.biz has been online since late November 2005. It is a proxy and online anonymity resource website. The site averages over 100 uniques visitors per day. It is a low resource consuming site and could even be hosted on shared hosting. This is not one of those CPU killer standard proxy site. There are Yahoo and GOogle ads on the site. Since November 28, 2005 the site has made $448.90 (as of 6:30PM June 6, 2006). The site has a great google click through ratio with an average of 9.75%. From May 18, 2006 to May 23, 2006 I ran a $10 per day google adwords campaign. Besides that there has been no other paid traffic. Some of the traffic comes from search engines (see screenshots) and other traffic comes from links from other sites. All stats are located at http://freeproxies.biz/siteinfo . There are stats from November 28, 2005 to present.
I update the site about once every two weeks. I put up updated proxy lists. If you have proxy lists, the total time to update the site is about 15 minutes (using FrontPage). Besides that I don't do much else with the site.
The VBulletin license is not included in this auction.
The other site is http://FreeProxies.us and it's been online since late December 2005. It is just a blog where I post proxy lists (takes 2 minutes to update). I update it about as often as I update the other site, about once every two weeks. The site averages over 55 unique visitors per day. This is also a very low resource site and can be easily hosted on shared hosting. Ads have been up since January 3, 2006 and since then the site has made $70.97 (as of 7:40PM June 6, 2006). No traffic was paid for. All traffic is from search engines and links from other sites. All stats are located at http://freeproxies.us/siteinfo . There are stats from January 3, 2006 to present.
Both of these sites have very easy to remember two word domain names.
Both domains are registered at godaddy and expire on November 23, 2007.
You can bid on one site or on both sites. There is a reserve for each site, although I won't disclose it right now.
