i have two computers...

one i register Namepros....with and it recognises me...

when i use the other computer....it doesnt.

so does namepro forum register my computer ID?......is it the same with other forums/sites...the cookies only recognises the
particular computer...

is that the way to trace hackers?

what if i use a public "internet cafe" computer???

When you login, a cookie is set on the computer you are using. The site will recognize the cookie from that computer to remember you.

Not sure about the internet cafes, but I recommend using the Logout link at the bottom if you ever use your NamePros account one someone else's computer. Logging out will clear the cookie.

I visit NamePros at both home and work. I stay logged in and have no trouble with accessing NamePros on either computer.

No need to clear cookies at work, I base this on trust and workmates different online fun! :D

Why do you clear your cookies at home? I only do that after looking up a website my brother might not appreciate!

It's not soo much a big trust factor in my work, the business is a smallish one, and there are only like two other workers that really use the internet at home! We all know each other, it's not like a big office type enviroment where we don't complete know our fellow employees! :)

Well lets just say that i made it my habit, so whenever i go outside, like my university's pc, i never forget to clean the history and cookies stuff. :p.

Don't wanna regret it. :)
