Lately I've been seeing more and more PREMIUM .TV domains being registered by ENOM and parked...

Are they just in it for the money?

There are many more I can't think of right now (I literally find 1-2 everytime I look for OVT names)

Is this allowed by ENOM? It's as if they are scoping out all the traffic from .tv and registering them for themselves...

Your thoughts?

alot of the non registered premiums and premiums regged by people not parked by themselves are being parked by enom for money.

Well first off Verisign did park premiums and now ENOM is look at Business.tv it is not regged but it resolves to a parked site a little more than the average but still parked.

Is it allowed? YES are they in it for money ? of course they are not a non profit, government oe a public service. They are a for profit company looking to make money just like domainers

Mygamesfever.tv First off is certainly not a premium, and my is a word not a typo lastly it has been regged by a BRIT in Notting HILL who just used ENOM back in August when he regged the domain

i don't see what the big deal is.

if you reg a name and don't want ENOM to be making the parking revenue from it, then change change your DNS entry to Sedo. Godaddy does exactly the same thing - regged names default to a godaddy parked page...

As far as unregged premiums, it is certainly reasonable for Enom to park them until someone regs. What else are they supposed to do with them? Have them not resolve?
