The ad test thing seems a little out of place though.

It is very very plain. Consider creating a header with a nice logo for the site and then adding some colors to the rest of the site, even just a colored background. I am not a fan of the box around your navigation menu buttons. With the lack of header it looks very odd, almost as if you had a header that just didn't load. Good luck to you with this project you have got a nice start going
