Turnkey sites

More questions from the noob in the never-ending quest for more knowledge :P

Do you guys think turnkey sites are worth it? I've found some nice deals on some. Any turnkey sites you guys would suggest? Would just putting up one and then reselling the site improve the value by much? A rough ball-park amount would be nice, though I know it varies a lot and would depend on the content.

i don't know with others, but blogs and forums are money makers for me for adspots and affiliate programs.

If someone has done the work to make it turnkey then the concept is old and there are tons of identical sites with established history and perhaps a better domain name. How can you add value to that?

Even a wordpress site with your own content would be better.

Thanks for the replies, you two. Weblord, yeah that makes sense. Does having a turnkey site on a domain add any value at all to the domain / make the sale any easier?

mhdoc, true. If I go that route, I'll probably customize the sites (beats starting from scratch), but I see your point. Might not be worth spending on them then.
