With the recent posts on geo .tvs I had may eye on Turkey.TV as the country is a major tourist destination and I currently live there.

Too late. It looks as thought this $2,000 premium was registered by the National.TV folks on the 17th. Are the new owners on this forum? If so, I would be interested in your plans for this domain.

The owner/s do look and contribute to this forum and I dare say that regging Thailand.Tv may have been the final push to the buy decision......

A great reg to add to an outstanding portfolio...............I highly doubt that development plans will be publicised though.......

To all others with an eye on a premium reg........if it is within your budget and you like the name - alot - do the research - which should not take more than 24 hours.....ad if you still like the name - go for it......

Hi Taheny,

Sorry about that - It is me...I have been eyeing that name for a long time now, but until recently was not sure if I had the capability to do anything with it.

The reason I took it now is because I took this with a French partner who used to date a Turkish girl LOL and who thinks he might have the folks who can help promote it.

PM me your contact information and when we go into development, I will have my partner reach out to you to see if there are any useful ways we could collaborate. I am more of the silent partner on this one, as my partner will be taking the lead on it, so I will put you in touch with him and let you two figure out if there is anything worth working on together.

Cheers,

AP

Great Name!

Congratulations antonis12! It's a great name, huge potential...

I had been checking Turkey.TV for a looong time, almost every other day - until I saw it was registered on the 17th. I had great plans about that name and was so sure that nobody would register (most people in Turkey are not aware of the value of .tv names). And I thought nobody out of Turkey would bother to register that name - and I was wrong! By the way, I live in Turkey... Some time ago I registered Turkeys.TV planning to develop by myself, but still Turkey.Tv is the best! Good luck with that name, and if you need any help, don't hesitate to contact me (although we might be competitors in the future :)).
