I don't like product names but Shoes.TV went for $19K
I would say that I think the $1200 was an "overpay" but it's hard to say no when you've already invested $1500.
Picking up the T-Shirts.TV was a great move because it doesn't strengthen branding but it removes the most competitive .TV from discussion.
I prefer the singular TShirt.TV which, to show how unfair everthing is, appears to be a Gold Rush name. The value of your name is highly dependent on the valuation of THAT name as I would, as an interested party, enquire into both.
The tv.com/.net/.org are taken but they are all one company so it's difficult to say whether people think tshirt tv is a decent concept.
In my mind you'll probably make a profit but it won't come quick. As far as product goes - it's an interesting one because it's not high price/specialized but it is visual can I can envision it working and I think the .com recently went for decent money.
It's a hard one to really know. It's not worth $500/year imho so getting the backorder was a good deal for you. I always think that that $1100 backorders are when Verisign doesn't have a clue.. it's like some kind of default.
ISP - that's internet related - bump it up to $3K. Tshirts? errr... $1100.
It's a better name than Cheeseburger. I'd expect you to make a profit but it WAS a risky investment imho which at this point has become much less of one. It's now an easy hold at regfee and I'd expect you to come out on top with a pretty decent offer. I'm always surprised by product .tv values.
No specific value from me because in .TV land no one has a clue anymore. Even with the Backorder taken it would have been taken BECAUSE you had the premium and there was instant resale value to you.. not because it was the best name available.
Left alone? It would have been taken by someone, imho. And that says it was worth it to me, if you have the $ to spare.
