Would like an experienced opinion on the value of these generic keyword .US domain nemes. Tried the appraisals and was told to try in the .us forum

I know U.S barleys have been on the news a lot lately as prices are on the rise and is now the eigth largest barley producing country. The global market for u.s beef products is huge.

Just looked on DnJournal.com and seen that the domain name Video.us sold for $75,000. I guess that answers my question since I think 3-4 of these are at least that caliber.

These would be the contenders and video is not nearly as good as videos.(s)

These are all strong products from the United States which gives them all excellent relevance to the extension. How many times have you ever entered video dot anything? Or just video by it's self?

I'm not going into full detail here but trust me BourbonWhiskey.us alone has huge potential and you will know what I'm talking about soon enough if you keep up with domain sales.

Granted, bourbonwhiskey.us is the best of the lot, but by no means is it on par with videos, video or even a good, solid, two-word generic. Anybody interested in the name - a distiller type - has already branded their own label. If you're going the development route, then yes. It's a very good name. But that takes work and from your posts it doesn't appear that's where you're headed.

barleys? Nope. Singular? Yes.
coals? Nope. Singular? Yes.
beefproducts? Nope.

None of these terms show up well in OVT or Google inside the quotes.

As a general rule - unless it's specifically in a vertical where I'm tracking keywords - I won't buy a .us unless OVT is at least 10,000. Now, there are exceptions to that, but few and far between.

Unfortunately, even if you had these three names in .com they wouldn't be worth much. Again, bourbonwhiskey is the best, but there are better names out there.

.biz doesn't have anything to do with it being a distinct product of the u.s

I don't know of any other distinct products of the u.s It can only be made in the United States.
