Transferring - Domain age question

I have about 15 oldish NetworkSolutions names which I'm planning to transfer out to a cheaper register before renewal time - will this affect the recorded age of the domain or will it stay the same ?

I suspect (and hope) it won't change but does anyone know for sure ?

I know for sure it won't change. I transfered a domain from netsol -> godaddy recently, and it still has the same old date

The Domain Age will ONLY change if the domain is Dropped.

This is true, meaning the creation date will not change unless the domain expires.

Even auction wining at tdnam and enom carry the old age for you.

I agree it won't change. as long as the domain name is transfered then the age will stay the same. well it will get older. you know the older the name the better. we like those name to age they are like a nice wine.
