Transferring a domain from GoDaddy to another registrar?

Hi,

I've never used GoDaddy before, but they seem to have some good offers that make them about the cheapest around. But I'd like to know if I can "get out" easily if I want to. So, how easy is it to transfer a domain from GoDaddy to another registrar, do allow it without much hassle? And does GoDaddy try to charge you anything for moving away, or are we talking just the renew fee from the new registrar?

I have transferred several domains from GoDaddy to other registrars without any problems. They do not charge you anything when you are transferring out, only when you are transferring to GoDaddy.

Im trying to transfer a co.uk domain from godaddy to another how do I complete the transfer if there is no co.uk in the transfer box?
