it all depends. mine usually take a few days. you have to do confirmations and all sorts of things with both registrars

It depends ( and can vary a lot ), I usually expect about 4 to 7 days ... unless it is with the dreaded Network Solutions, in which case hell freezing over, flying pigs and blue moons come into the equation.

How long has it been ?

All the best.

yea. i did them, but the time it is taking is making me a lot mad. Does transfer, differ from registrar to registrar or is it standard?

It can vary a bit, although usually once the e-mail to confirm the move has been dealt with most should be pretty standard.

Which registrar are you transfering the domain from ?

All the best.

It varies a whole lot just between the times that the company will confirm and send you a confirmation email.

The post makes me beleive it is from NetSol am I mistaken?

If not then good luck getting it done at all.

Righto.
The majority of requests for transfers in to Enom (ie., "pulls") are generally 48 - 96 hours, I've even had some from Register.com (believe it or not) occur within 24 hours! Truly.
How quickly you (or the person at the Admin. E-mail address) responds to the initial E-mail authorization/verification can play a large part in the overall process. Registrars can vary.
I'm trying to get one now from NSI, and I'm starting to lose it! :o
Best of Luck.

Excellent.
Please share the details ... from where was it coming (which Registrar)? How long until the first E-mail verification was received? When did the domain name officially "resolve" at Enom? Whole process said and done ... how many days/hours?
Would be extremely helpful for all of us.
Thanks much.

Here is the details

The domain was indews.com

My first try to transfer was on Oct 12.
I got verification email for the losing registrar on the same day.
The losing Registrar was Innerwise, Inc. itsyourdomain.com.

I got an email on Oct 18, telling me that the losing registrar rejected the transfer.

I email the guys at InnerWise to ask what's going on, and i got an email from them the next day, they said that they would lower the domain reg for me to 8.95, their standard is 14 something and also that if i want i can transfer the name now, and so I did.

On Oct. 20 I initiated the transfer, i got the verification email on 22nd and i immediately gave a go ahead, and now the domain is transferred.

I hope now it is pretty clear, and hopefully it may be useful for some members up here:red:

Thank You.

Excellent!
Thanks, Twinks ... VERY helpful to all, indeed.
PS. I particularly like those ... "they said that they would lower the domain reg for me to 8.95" offers, just before you click for the "acceptance" of transfer out. LOL.
Appreciates.
