I've got a domain expiring on November 28th at Godaddy. Is it too late to transfer the name to eNom?

Thanks,
Greg.

Rubbish! You can transfer from Godaddy to eNom in about an hour. You just have to respond quickly to eNom's transfer agreement and then login to you GoDaddy account and authorize the transfer. GoDaddy will release it immediately.

Stub is the BEST! and he is correct. Many people do not know that you can log into your godaddy account and Accept the transfer! Most people just wait the 5 days for the "system" to accept the transfer.

:hi:

No, not too late as others have said.

I've initiated some transfers out of GoDaddy with just an hour or so before midnight when the domain would have expired.

I never logged into my GoDaddy account to authorize the transfer but that is good advice.

Some Godaddy Resellers will tell you that you cannot transfer out if less than 10 days remains before the Expiration Date.

This is NOT true.

ICAAN rules do not allow a Registrar to block a domain transfer based on the number of days remaining.

From ICann's Policy on Transfer of Registrations between Registrars

"Instances when the requested change of Registrar may not be denied include,...:
Domain name registration period time constraints, other than during the first 60 days of initial registration or during the first 60 days after a registrar transfer.
