I'm new to the domain game and have already purchased some questionable names lol. I'm just wondering your thoughts on:

Topepl.com

As in "Top EPL"

Does this domain have any resale value? Without building a site?

If one has to explain a domain, the domain is useless.

Of course explanation is often important for valuation of the domain (good examples are short abbreviation domains). I was not familiar with EPL abbreviation before so I would have passed this domain without thought. Since you explained I was curious and made some digging. Of course EPL is great string to have, but sadly with TOP does not produce substantial search volume. Of course you can try to develop page with popular content and then TopEPL might be good domains since it is very short and easy to remember. I would expect low reseller value for domain itself.
