It was the year of .cn when it came to country code sales in 2014. The .cn extension took 7 out of the top 10 sales in 2014, including the top 3. In contrast .cn only had two entries in the 2013 top 100.
There was one big sale that I know of that was not reported to Ron/Dn Journal and that was the .se registry selling TV.se. That domain was auctioned on the Swedish ebay Tradera, and it sold for $288,162.
Much to the delight of Adam Dicker, a big investor in his homeland country code of Canada, the .ca extension had the second highest number of places in the top 100 for 2014. The Canadian country code placed 12 sales in the top 100.
