Most people know Frank Schilling and Rick Schwartz, but who else would you put in the top 10. Ive seen John Berryhill in the whois for some nice names also. But like to get a complete top 10 list by your guys and gals consensus.

Amazing how many very active posters in this thread haven't posted on NP in many years. Some of the posters in this thread could be on that list.
And here we are 10 years later.
This was a fun thread back in '07
Who makes this list now?
Some of the posters in this thread could be on that list.
Kate, you were absolutely right about 2013 vs '07, and now 2017, were there more opportunities in 2013 than now?
I'm not so sure.
With all the emerging technology, specific niches, future holds, the Chinese market swallowing up what were considered bad letters, fortune passes everywhere.
One problem with this question is how many big shooters keep a low profile, but even the high profile will still be hard to pick.
Another problem is the fact that Registers have become domainers.
There was a post earlier in this thread where they picked Bob Parsons.
That got a good laugh at the time.
Not so funny anymore,
So who are the Top 10 players in the industry in 2017?
Peace,
Cy
Nice thread!
Top 10 shouldn't just be decided by who has a top name/s(though that's an important factor). Because, someone with a high bankroll can easily buy a top name right now. That doesn't equal being a top domainer.
With that being said: I'd say: Frank Schilling
- Someone who had the vision to invest early on in this business should be considered
- Someone who started with nothing, but managed to reach the top should be considered
- Because these people impact the industry in ways that's more than just about owning a nice name
But I'm really impressed with some of my fellow domainers here on Namepros.
