I don't know of any free ones and doubt you will be able to find one that lets you send unlimited bulk requests to Whois. But I can recommend a good paid one - only $47. It's ScrapeBox with Whois Scraper addon. Atomic has something as well but I've never used it.

Can these tools extract only email or all other data from whois for analysis?

I found ScrapeBox but not the link to Atomic?

Agreed on email, it should be hidden from whois and plus the phone number also.

It's this one
Atomic (Atompark) has a zillion of good apps, check them out, you might find them useful.

P.S. Forgot to mention in my prev post - Scrapebox's normal price is more than 47 bucks but they have a coupon that will let you by for $47. This coupon has been around for ages and should still be good [search main black hat forums and you will find it].

Out of curiosity, would you all pay for a tool like this? If so, how much?

Based on features mentioned on each of their site,

Scrapebox for under $50 seems OK

but I was quite surprised with atomic's price! so no way.

I already do whois querying with open source command line utils (not to extract bulk emails), so atomic is not worth to me. It is really not difficult to maintain your own whois db and query it from any OS. To get started on Windows, use whois, redirect the output to file and grep whenever you want. Grep and more linux utils for Windows are included in babun. If you haven't used grep before, don't get scared(@Nick V, I don't mean you, this is for lot of non-techie users who find commandline tools intimidating :) ), the basic is really easy. Wont take more than few minutes to get going. Linux already has all the software you need, so no need to download. SEO stuff is more difficult from commandline, so Scrapebox may be worth it but I don't know much about SEO tools. All the software I have listed here is free or open source but please make sure to check them with your antivirus before using them. You can also upload the files to VirusTotal.com for a free multi antivirus check.

This is beyond most people. I was asking because I'm in the middle of building it for myself, but if there's demand for it, I'll open it up as a SaaS.

That is great. I would be very much interested.

I started my post as an answer to your post, but decided midwayto expand it so even non-techies could do their own basic querying. I should have clarified that in the post. Updated it.

I know of one--free--that does EXACTLY what you want, down to the finest detail.

But I refuse to tell you, as you seem like a spammer. A legit person would be willing to pay.

So no help from me. And anyone who does help you should be ashamed of themselves.

I couldn't agree with you more...
As if the 15 calls and the 70+ spamming emails offering web development daily aren't enough now we're asked to help them double that amount.

Wow, judge and jury all in one, so judgmental. Like a petulant child who wants to make sure everyone knows they have something and that they weren't going to share. Makes me want to help him more.

1.) Yes, I am.

2.) You post has no real-word applications to the issue. Please only justify yourself with points and relevence.

3.) SPAMMERS are the ones who attempt to make money with no investment. Professionals know that you need to SPEND money to make money. So again, reread #1 above.

My post was opinion, same as yours. No points of relevance (lol) needed.

You are either really young, or just really closed minded, not sure which. Arrogance is such an ugly trait when there is no humility. Speaking of relevance, what does the lack of investment have to do with the post? You have no idea if he has an investment. You only know he doesn't want to pay for this piece of software. They are not mutually exclusive facts. I often want freeware because I want to try something before I invest in it, every professional knows that right? Your logic is convoluted and rambling. You objected to sharing because of his use, now your citing his lack of investment, which is it? Do amateurs know that they have to spend money too, or is it just professionals? BTW, most true spammers spend money but I'm not sure how that validates the activity. Also, professionals know that there is no one way to do anything, including making money. I can collect cans and make money all without an investment, does that make me a professional? anyway, thanks for reminding me to look for the software, I had forgotten about it. Cheers.

Yes, relevance is needed. Otherwise, no point is made. Why the "lol"?

i used Email Extractor tool (Chrome extension). It's very easy to extract emails from developed websites but it's not work with parking pages and whois email.

Atomic has something as well but I've never used it.

Don't bother with Atomic, it may have worked in the past, but these days they cannot even find the whois email of their own website and they don't seem to care about it.

You can give this one a try Bulkwhoisfinder
Till August 10th it's only $20 [use coupon DOMAINX]
I don't own it and haven't tried myself but I think it should do the job.

P.S. This clip from utube shows how it works.

Just as an FYI, Godaddy logs whois lookups per ip address and they will block your access to whois registrant info for domains registered with them after only a handful of lookups. That means that you'll effectively be unable to retrieve whois data for a big chunk of your list even if you buy software. In fact, that's the best case scenario and assumes you're looking up .com or .net domains. If you're looking up domains with other extensions, you'll get blocked pretty quickly regardless of the registrar.

Scrapebox gets around the problem by using proxy servers which essentially change your IP address with every lookup, however they use public/free proxy servers which are mostly slow and have a very high failure rate so once again you will only be able to retrieve data for a fraction of your list.
