Too Weird ~ Spooky Adsense Stuff

I saved a page/site to my desktop the other day for later reference (Article) , and The site has Adsense on it.

Well I opened it a moment ago - and after a minute or two .... I noticed the Ads contained my name - Definitely Caught my eye :D

Haha! Did the file name or folder name have 'mark' in it?

I've noticed Adsense will serve targeted ads based on a domain name before it even sends Googlebot to check it. Like if you purchased 'www.templates.ms' and put Adsense on it, it would serve 'template' ads instantly based solely on the domain name. I imagine it could work the same with folder names on your local computer.

Nope - Just Scanned it .... Mark is not in the Doc ??? Marketing is the only word that contains it -

But my User name on the Control Panel is Mark (Name of Desktop)

ya..im getting weird adsense/adsearch stuff too.

example: while not specifically saying stats, i wouldnt be surprised if my avg click ratio this month is somewhere along the lines of 11%

also, although i have no adsearch ANYWHERE posted, I am getting searches AND click throughs on that.

In my Rod Serling voice:
An ad, served by a server in an unknown location, finding words that do not appear in the document, selling items that don't exist on Ebay. An ad you can only find an advertiser for in the Twilight Zone....

Seriously though, they do serve up some strange ads. I go crazy sometimes trying to figure out what they base the ads on...

On the mysterious searches, maybe someone is using your ID in their search code.

Google have desktop search already, so I wouldn't be surprized if they integrated it into adsense too.

Anyways, Adsense was really weird for me yesterday
Say if I usually earned $x a day, yesterday I earned 3x
