Tonight, 7.00 PM GMT – First live domain auction on ChatWebDev

Tonight, 7.00 PM GMT will be the first live domain auction hosted by ChatWebDev. ChatWebDev is a recently launched web development IRC channel and since its launch a few weeks ago it has gone from strength to strength. Today I thought we could try something a bit different, depending on how successful the event is, it could become a regular thing.

The way the auction works is very simple; all the domains that are going to be included in the auction need to be emailed to me along with a starting price, a BIN price and a possible reserve. Then, when the event starts I will then list them 1 by 1 in the channel and people can make bids in real time.

If you have a domain that you would like to sell in the auction please email your domain to [email protected] and it will be added to the auction list. Please email them in this format. Max domains 10 per person.

Don’t worry if you can’t make the event, if your domain is sold the winning bidder will be provided with your email address so that they can contact you.
