I do sympathise with those who lost money - though, please, do sort out your issues the legal way (there are legal limits how far you can go attacking somebody online, and these do exist to protect all of us).

Firstly, someone who is a public figure has virtually no protection under libel law, as opposed to a private individual. See the Dicker thread for details and relevant links. Dicker has, as far as we know, taken legal action against no one. In fact at one point - again documented in the Dicker thread - his own legal representatives took legal action against him to recover their fees.

The FBI took action to protect us all by issuing a warning that mugshot websites were extortion schemes and should not be paid.

The main topic I wanted to touch: Why do so many domainers hold to their horrible, horrible domain names and how to get over that.

For the rest, I was planning to let Adam talk, ask questions and go with a flow. .. It is always painful to watch interviews (or hear on podcasts) where interviewer doesn't follow the flow. Isn't that why people love Larry King? .. the man never takes the spotlight for him.

+ wanted to allow people ask him questions.

.. well, maybe some other day, although I doubt it.

For an interviewer to not ask the hard questions like what he did with peoples money is like interviewing R Kelly and not bring up the allegations. I personally did not lose money with him BUT for so many to get burned by this guy in such a niche industry is kinda hard to swallow

Did this planned interview involve a fee?

No - I have never taken a fee for livestreem appearances and do not plan to do so Ever.

.. I have done more than 1k livestreams in 3+ year time for the global Latvian community, and have never asked for a fee.

Related thread shows that another name (which was indeed disclosed on Thursday) has extremely positive reaction from the community. Which is natural. There would be no need to remove anything this time...
