I've been watching a name that was in RedemptionPeriod and it just switched to PendingDelete within the last few days. It's not a high demand/value name, so I'm on the fence about putting in a snap order. The whois shows a registrar that has an agreement with snapnames.
1. If no one orders at snap, is one of the registrars 100% sure to keep it themselves for tasting? Or, since it's not a very desirable name, is there a chance it might actually go directly to being publicly available on the 6th day after PD?
2. I checked the snapnames "In Auction", "Available Soon", "Expired Only" and individual date lists, but I don't see the name I'm interested in on any list (even though it should drop within the next few days). Does this mean there are no bids?
3. Is it too late to Back Order a name now that it is already in PendingDelete? Is there no way to bid if it's not already on one of the snap lists?
Do I have any chance at getting it by just letting it drop? (It has no PR and there are less than 10 links on Google, most of which are whois listings.)
Thanks for you advice.
