The stars will be especially bright in the digital universe Sunday, Jan. 28, when TNT.tv and TBS.com offer viewers a front-row seat as Hollywood’s top talents walk the red carpet at the 13th ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS®. In addition to extensive live red-carpet coverage, hosted by Jamie Kaler, co-star of TBS’s hit comedy series My Boys, and Dave Karger, senior writer for Entertainment Weekly, TNT and TBS’s online broadband players, DramaVision at tnt.tv and Laugh Lab at tbs.com, will provide live backstage video feeds of Actor® recipients after receiving their awards, including coverage of their pressroom interviews and photo sessions. To make the online experience complete, tnt.tv and tbs.com will build up to the event with special microsites packed with information, behind-the-scenes peeks and clips from past shows. The 13th ANNUAL SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), 7 p.m. (CT) and 6 p.m. (MT). This year marks the event’s ninth telecast on TNT and second simulcast on TNT and TBS.

“The SAG AWARDSTM give us a perfect opportunity to utilize a variety of platforms to deliver dynamic content surrounding the event,” said Jeff Gregor, chief marketing officer for TBS and TNT. “Through the combined power of our ever-exciting TBS and TNT simulcast of the ceremony, extensive broadband coverage and content-rich Web sites, we are offering a complete VIP ticket to the evening’s festivities, from the red carpet to the podium to the pressroom.”

Live broadband coverage of the red carpet will be available through TNT’s DramaVision and TBS’s Laugh Lab beginning at 6:30 p.m. (ET) and continue until the ceremony begins at 8 p.m. (ET).

After the first award is handed out, the broadband players will offer an exclusive peek at the winners as they walk the photo line leading to the pressroom. Online viewers can then follow the winners to the pressroom for a Q&A session, which, as many past awards shows have proven, can often provide some truly memorable moments and quotes.
