Hello,

A big entity filed for TM following words, each with its own brand/picture:
Word1
Word2 word3 word1
Word2 word1 word3
Word3

No domains were mentioned, just words with pictures.

If I register (word2)(word1)(.)com, will that be a TM infringement?

Thanks!

TM infringement is all about intent. Why are you wanting to register these words? What will you do with it after you register it? Are they keywords, brand names, technical jargon? Need more info, and even then, that's just my opinion and I am not a TM attorney.

Yep, scam.

word1 is a country name
word2 is a regular word in the dictionary - English, not that country's language
word3 is an abbreviation

there is for all countries that I searched for the domain word2word1(.)com registered
but not for this one
Thanks

I'll be more specific.
Let's say the country is Country, and it's abbreviation is CY

word1 is Country
word2 is something like friends
word3 is CY

so I want to register something like friendscountry(.)com

On the other hand, can you TM something like FriendsFrance, RelativesCanada or ParentsGermany?
Maybe they could not, and they got it only for their country's extension. They did not bother about .com and .org is taken. com was dropped a few years ago, but with the globalisation it is actual again. I want to develop the website, just bad timing. They filed for TM about 2 weeks ago....I was 2 days late for an other domain. I don't think I do wrong...but...You never know.
Opinions welcomed!
Thanks!

Yes you can go ahead as long as you do not compete with the TM of the other company and also make the legitimate use of the Domain Name as early as possible.
