TM Issues?

Hello everyone,

I'm planning to start a FREE Invision Power Board (IPB) hosting site. However, I'm not too sure if i will have any TM issues with Invsion Power Services (Creator of IPB)

The domain i plan to use for my FREE IPB hosting site will contain the word "IPB" in it.

Do you think i will have any TM issues?

Just wanting to make sure

So far it seems they don't have a registered trademark (seems anyway). But
they can always claim common law if they can prove it.

On the other hand, both USPTO and Google indicate there are several marks
under the name "invision". I haven't checked outside, though.

Also, no one has exclusivity to the letters "IPB". However, if there's someone
with a registered trademark for IPB and your use infringes on it, that can spell
trouble.

Those are my initial thoughts. More coming up, but obviously you'll get better
feedback from a seasoned attorney around here.
