Thinking of creating an affiliate site - Titanium bottles in the high end market of people thinking steel bottles are too heavy

Hikers, Bushcrafters, campers or for gym users

Unfortunately it's an exact match with very low serch volume and related to a very narrow niche.

If your new, why would you say the first thing jim does is spam? Only people reading the forum for a while know his appraisals are rubbish. your domain, never heard of titanium bottles, i see a titanium water bottle for $69.95
About the same value on your name 70usd
Make an affiliate site you should make lots commission on $75 titanium flask sales
TitaniumFlask dot com is available

Very narrow... Well- they are highly sought after with a lot of hikers and outdoorspeople- so I will give it a run :)

Not allowed to include links, but check out outposttitanium dotcom for instance ...

With that attitude, I strongly believe that there's no room for a person like you on any forum. Why would you start arguing with other experienced domainers when YOU'RE actually the one asking for other people thoughts trough an appraisal request?

Unlike @jim h that is known for generating random numbers on every appraisal requests here on NamePros, they took their time to explain how they came up with these numbers... For free. Take it or leave it, but don't start a brawl for no reason.

If you really think that this 7 months old domain is worth $10000, then good luck selling it. I guess there's nothing wrong with believing in get-rich-quick schemes... Unless you bring other people in your daydream.

On a more positive note, I don't think you could get more than XX for this domain. Maybe low XXX if sold as a dropshipping store to the right buyer. TitaniumWaterBottle is the exact match, but is already taken in .com since 2014.

It should be a good idea allowing posting on the appraisal section only for members with a certain amount of posts and with accounts at least 2 weeks old. I'm tired of people arriving here, dropping their crappy domains and leaving forever. The newbie section exists for a reason, this is the appraisal section.

Just let Jim h takes care of the newbies then everything will be fine.

I would say that this is a win-win solution. They are always angry when you say the truth, with @jim h they are really happy.

Or what about moderators start getting more strict in this section? They should really consider warning members that are not following a specific template while appraising a domain, just like they do for sellers in other sections like Domain Auctions and Fixed Price.

As we speak, Domain Appraisal section is literally a jungle. You get everything from old lions with wisdom to monkeys with their basket filled with arrogance.

My point is that Namepros "tell" me as a professional community that an exact match domain within an expensive category (sort of) where a site with evergreen content can be made is worthless. Then I'm criticized for fending off a valuation from a user that you yourselves have tagged as a spammer (I read a lot of posts before posting myself)

IMO this is bordering ridiculous- to the point of hazing. Do I care that much? No

However, with a current system like this I move on, obviously

How would you know the exact match?

I never claimed to possess gold- and according to your logic there are no searches except for the one with water in it?

According to your logic "woodchoppingaxe" would be more worth than "axe"... Come on...

And on a sidenote- I said I was contemplating building a site on it, not that I was aiming to sell it for 10 000 dollars

Hence, I believe the right term here is "toxic society"

But no worries- I'm moving on, really could not care less
