It has been removed for technical reasons that are outside of our control. Once search engines improve their technologies, we may be able to add it back.

In the meantime, the times can still be accessed on the "New Posts" page.

I'm not a 100% sure on the customisation available to the widget framework in use, but couldn't you create a template modification or edit the widget template to only show this info for members? This removes whatever the issue is for the search engines while keeping the usual functionality for those who are logged in.

Yes.

This has been an issue for a long time. We've tried multiple things to work around the search engines' shortcomings, but they are not parsing pages correctly in regards to those dates, so we had to remove them.

Possibly, but those modifications make it more difficult for us to perform updates and security patches, so we try to limit them unless it is a vital change.
