.info Tierra.net - 88 cent .info domains coming up as $9.95?

Today I was just going to register some more .info domains @ Tierra for 88 cents, but when I enter the name I want to register, it shows up as $9.95!

When you click on "Pricing Chart", it still says that .info domains are still 88 cents. Is this happening to anyone else?

I think the cheap .info promo has ended for some registrars. DirectI and Estdomains have also increased their prices

GoDaddy is now $1.99 for me verses $0.99 a few days ago.

1.99 is sill better than 9.95.

I'm glad there's still some place to reg them cheap.

Yeah, it seems that I was 3 hours late in trying to register .info names @ Tierra. I emailed their support, & once of the support staff said it just ended, but could put in a request to a supervisor. Then the supervisor said:

Thank you for your earlier call. Unfortunately, our contract with Afilias,
the '.info' domain registry, to offer lower priced domains has expired and
we can no longer offer the 88 cent price. I apologize for the
inconvenience. Have a great day.

Should've registered them a couple of hours earlier! Anyway, how often do they run those specials, is it often?

I think this is being done because many .info domains are dropped after the first year. This promo was running for 1.5 years.
