I've had xxx.hn (yes - the letters xxx) for a few years and it's up for renewal. The fee for a .hn is rather steep @ $75 / year.

If you were me would you open up the wallet or set it free? :-/

LOL. The domain is actually http://www.xxx.hn. The xxx is not a wildcard nor a placeholder for other letters.

Is it quite literally XXX (which defintely keep) or a weaker combination (I'm expecting this) such as DOX.hr

If it's a good resellable one, it's probably worth keeping, but otherwise drop it.

Why not develop into Honduras niche adult site. At least you can cover your reg costs that way. I would renew and develop the domain.

Good luck

Looks almost unanimous with the exception of the lone reg-fee that I should renew.

The tribe has spoken.

You can keep it if you got a good profit with that domain and if not i think you know what to do

I would dropi it, I would not pay $75 on xxx.hn unless it gave $10 revenue each year

I see it is parked with Sedo. How long has it been parked? How many visitors/mth and is there any revenue generated from parking? If you have had it parked for some time and you are not getting much revenue then @ $75 renewal fee I personally would let it go. BTW I have never seen a .hn domain in auction at Sedo!! Maybe that should trigger some alarm bells!

Correction to the above - upon checking namebio I found these:
poker.hn $1,729 2007-05-21 Sedo

poker.hn $811 2007-03-10 Sedo

TV.hn $1,000 2006-01-10 Sedo

Thanks for your appoach. If the stats bore out keeping the name, I wouldn't have posted this thread and just renewed it. So it is far more an emotional decision based on the quality of the name and ext.

I, personally, have sold two similarly popular keywords (non-adult) for high $XXX and low $XXXX respectively, so the market does exist. With its high OVT score of 1.4 million searches last month, I'm leaning toward keeping it even though if fails my general renewal metrics.
