Thoughts on .PW Domain

Hi,

Just wondering what is general user's/domainers thought on .pw (professional web) domain extension.

Personally, its market is dead as almost everyone seems be excited and are eagerly awaiting the release of new TLD's - .banks, .hotels, etc.

But would be interesting to see what other thoughts and ideas are around.

Please feel free to share the knowledge or experience

This extension doesn't seem to have any future like hundreds of others. For example, .WS is for wasting money too.

Plus on another thought, Google no longer prioritizes domain extensions but still .com's top the list whereas if a good domain name is chosen with different domain extension and is marketed well than why wouldn't it rank higher.

I think its just the mentality that has seeped in about .com's and obviously awareness plays a major role. So, lets wait and watch.

Men use internet, not Google. So, what google prioritizes means nothing. The .com extension is not the only one extension people use. They also have cctld extensions, which very popular in their countries: .ru - in Russia, .co.uk - in Britain, .de - in Germany.

"So, lets wait and watch." - you may wait for 1000 years! look at other extensions: .gs, .tc, .ms and others! why do you think .pw will be more valuable?? there is no any reason for this.

.pw like some other ccTLD's have not found any luck until it was rebranded to professional web as per the blog i have mentioned above shows some interesting stats and if i go with those stats, than it seems to be still popular as compared to some other ccTLD's around but obviously not as compared to .ru or .de.

.pw is not going to do any wonders but because of its hype, it might still survive and tag along other popular ccTLD's.

You can find plenty of them which are unregistred. Make millions now or they will be taken!

I bought Enter.ws sold it for 20$ lol Waist of Money!
Can be good if you own a Kickass One Word Premium Domain and build a super Website but... Not for Domainers!
