About a month ago I had an epiphany. Everyone was talking about which altcoins were going to blow up, no one was talking domain names. It's like the mid 90's all over again, I thought to myself, if I get the right domain names I'll make a killing!

I came up with over 200 domain names and then got the bad news when my gold ideas had all but mostly been thought of, only being able to snag 4 of them, lol!

But, over time I've come up with more and grown my portfolio. What are your thoughts on this (and yes, I know some are misspellings) I've tried to organize these to make them easier for the reader to digest

IMO they're not the kind of names that people would buy from the aftermarket.

No one was talking crypto domain names a month ago? I thought that was all that was talked about since CHIPs died off.

Not to belittle your epiphany, but did it really take long and hard thoughts to come up with the idea of buying crypto names? Sorry to say that a lot of people came to that realization instantly.

Regarding the names you regged.. Well as you said it was the only ones left.. For a reason.

I haven't been in the domain name biz for awhile. When I say no one was talking about domain names I mean in the crypto groups on Facebook (everyone was just talking about which coins to buy, hold, etc)

So yes, I thought I was a genius at the time, was patting myself on the back, all set to retire with my roster of 200+ domain names for crypto currencies and saw I was way late to the party. :P

So there's not even one of value in my portfolio?

I would probably rate these two my highest:

CryptoCheater.com (I'm sure there will be someone out there trying to create programs to falsify coins or steal coins or whatever, someone trying to sell a program of some sort)

BitCoinBishop.com - Could be brandable as a personality in the industry

I am afraid not mate. Let me give you a tip. When you have cash to handreg 20+ names you can afford to buy aftermarket names from resellers instead.

I havent handregged in years. Its so fiercely competitive that I much prefer just to buy the semi decent names of middle men here at NP.

As an example I got

Some good crypto name 1 and 2.

From resellers here. I got both for less than you paid for your regs and I like my odds of selling them better than yours. Not that either had any offers.

BUT MUH DREAMS!

Alright, fair enough, appreciate you guys for taking the time to look and chime in. Can I sell anyone some used scratch tickets? Only used once, still have a lot of life left in them!

late by a month as well.. With the way the cryptos are getting hammered, not sure how many people will buy even good crypto domains, at least for now.

I wouldn't sell them now in a down market, definitely wait for the market to be on the upswing where it's a sellers market

Being blunt but not unkind...

About a month ago I had an epiphany. Everyone was talking about which altcoins were going to blow up, no one was talking domain names.
Yes they were, very much. A bit of reading would reveal that...

It's like the mid 90's all over again, I thought to myself, if I get the right domain names I'll make a killing!
Nothing will ever be like the 90s, domains or otherwise. But yeah, the "right" names will make you a good ROI...

I came up with over 200 domain names and then got the bad news when my gold ideas had all but mostly been thought of, only being able to snag 4 of them, lol!
Whenever I come up with a great plan, and go seek names related and remember there are hundreds of thousands (more) of other people trying to get good names same as me, that it's 99% of the time "too late".
At that point, you change direction, which you did right?

But, over time I've come up with more and grown my portfolio.
Ahh no, you didn't, you stayed in the same direction and forced your way trying to get names regardless of you having already discovered and confirmed yourself "they were all gone". At that point you must change direction. That dream is gone, just find another one...

I've listed your names into categories, such as "might sell" "might not" "hard sell" etc (This is "my opinion")

BUT MUH DREAMS!
Dreams are about the being well off, happy, rich, whatever. Buying domain names to get there (or whatever your dream is) should not be a dream but a commercial avenue with practical and serious research and thought and investigation into the industry you are buying names in.

There are crypto names out there that would give a ROI, even hand reg (very rare) but don't just buy "anything" just to have something rather than nothing. That just means you still have nothing :(
