I know it's rather long; however, what are your thoughts/value on DomainInvestingCafe.com?

Thanks for all feedback.

Well, isn't this the whole point of this forum?? I'm confused. :-/

The point is that you should try to educate yourself on what sells before you buy. As it turns out, that is one of the best uses of this forum.

Still learning every day, bad purchases and all, that's why I use this forum for the great feedback from members like you.

There is a definite learning curve, but ideally you overcome it by learning from others mistakes, at least more than your own. Mistakes are a great way to learn, but (in investing) they cost money and as an investor that is the exact opposite of what you are trying to achieve. The money that you spend researching and learning (work time = money) is an investment in itself and ultimately less costly than investing with inexperience.

Apart from some news about a domain investor "coffee shop" opening in China, I don't see any demand.
If you believe in the name then you would be hoping to sell it to them or hoping that the trend explodes, both of which I would call pipe dreams. BTW, these "cafes" already exist on the internet in the form of domain forums and blogs. Your in one right now. Thinking that these "cafes" will prosper in the brick and mortar world is naive. Stock investing is much larger than domain investing, where are all the stock investing cafes? Buy what people want, not what you think they want. Buy what you see, not what you think.

I did, read it again, I just didn't expand on it. Reading between the lines can be very profitable.

If you didn't intend to develop it, then you shouldn't keep it cause nobody is going to buy it from you.
