.mobi Thoughts of uses and worth on one

Hello fellow np's,

I have a name that I reg, that interested me.

I am looking for ideas and possible uses to develop. Any initial thoughts and reactions as well as what strikes you, are greatly appreciated.

Also for kicks if you would like to thow a ball park undeveloped (good or bad), I do not mind.

I have plenty more in the bag to pull out for scrutiny :lol:

I've got to be honest, preregister.mobi is doing nothing for me. Reg fee undeveloped. Hopefully someone else has some ideas for you.

i agree with scandiman. it's just too generic and unfocused

one idea that might work maybe is something to do with colleges

college students have all the mobile gear and they are always trying to get into crowded classes, maybe something with that or for events or expos

but you'd have to have a pretty high-quality site with a lot of bells and whistles to convince people to outsource their registrations to you

anyway, good luck with it !

I was thinking along the lines of marketing for an event if you preregister you could skip a line, or get a certain promotion code/discount for an event. ?
Any other ideas?

If you developed it like that... it could definitely work. Somewhat like Ticketmaster -- not all that great of a name in it's own right however it has been very well marketed and positioned and now you'd be hard pressed to say it doesn't describe what it does perfectly.

I think you're in the same boat -- properly developed and marketed, you may have a gem

Although it's definitely not a 'quick flip'.
