Thoughts needed!

Hi everyone,

I'm currently designing my current homepage. Here is what I've come up with so far:

A few questions:

1) Am I heading along the right lines

2) Is it better than http://www.rich-media.co.uk ?

3) I think it's lacking that bite, how can it improve?

No links etc yet - just a concept.

Well, so far i think the second version looks much better then the first one.

What are eyou reffering to when you say " I think it's lacking that bite, how can it improve? ". Compared to the old version.. this one is really improved already.

I'm not sure I think we would have to see the first one finsihed to tell which is better, rollovers etc. an all make a site look technically as well as visually good.

Actually, yes it's much better, and I think it's great how it is. :D

I dont like the yellow on the rollover buttons, i think they would be good red. Anyways the layout is good. I like it better than the original. So maybe just change the rolover

I'm not sure why, but I like the old one better. I do like that the new one is centered and isnt stretched super far down the page.

The new one is definitely better. However it takes too much time to load the website.

The new version is definitely better! It's the type of site I like, it has that perfect balance of professionalism and simplicity, yet it makes good eye-candy too

EDIT: Also, you might want to check out www.richmedia.co.uk, same company name, same industry, be a bit careful
