Hi, I'm Yilduz.
I first got into computers when I was in elementary school and had my first computer class. I loved how I could make things happen. I went to a friend's house where we played a couple video games, then his mom set up a few things and we were on the internet looking at a Detroit Red Wings site. I was immediately hooked on internet.
When I got into middle school, I had a computer class that was much nerdier. We were learning how to make things happen using something called MicroWorlds (I believe that was its name), PowerPoint, and other programs. I also started learning HTML and eventually started creating my own anime fansites on angelfire.
When I got into high school I got more into gaming, but also more into coding. I started using something called BYOND to create my own games. I made an MMORPG but never released it because I didn't have any graphics for it other than stick figures and circles that represented spells. I slowed down a bit on the site making, but in college I took a web development class. At that time I started learning javascript and css. I only finished a year of college so I didn't get the more in depth classes, but I've just started learning php on my own.
I got my first domain to host my homepage. I registered another as a joke for a friend but it didn't go very far. I expressed some interest in one of the online communities I participate in and one of the guys there showed me a few things and I registered about a dozen more domains. Some of them are for sites I want to create, some are sites I'm making for family and friends, others I don't really have a use for - they just seemed interesting. After I felt like I wasted money registering these domains, I decided to see what I could do to get something back out of it. I found this place and now here I am, typing an intro post.
I've read through some of the threads here and I like this place a lot already. I feel like I can learn a lot and hopefully I can become an active, helpful member of this community sometime in the future.
I don't think any of my domains are too impressive right now (especially compared to my girlfriend's uncle. The guy has wifi.com - heh...), but I like a lot of them. I also love seeing the product of my creations. Nothing is more satisfying to me than to see something that i've made work.

yilduz.com - my homepage. I don't care if it's worth nothing. It's for my stuff.
PaganDruid.com - this one is for my girlfriend. She wants to make a site about herbalism and stuff like that. She's into making soaps, fragrances and stuff like that, but she's also all about organic.
RunicTarot.com - For my girlfriend's mom. I actually got this one and coded some stuff in and gave it to her for mother's day. She wanted something like this for rune readings, tarot readings, and stuff like that.
ProseEdda.com - I'm a huge fan of viking history and norse mythology. When I saw this was available, I grabbed it.
TemporalStasis.com - I got this one for a D&D site I want to make.
TheSlaveShip.com - The domain I got as a joke for a friend. After the joke I was wondering what I could do with it. I got a suggestion for something like ancestry. I had a few ideas for D&D adventures the name would be good for, but a whole site for a single campaign seems a bit overkill.
JesterRace.com - I got it because it was available. :p
Some of my interests other than computers and internet includes:
Viking history and norse mythology
Other "barbarian" tribes and races, and the warfare of their eras.
Sports, especially football and hockey (Go Wings! One more win to go!)
Metal music. i'm a huge fan, especially of underground metal, but also some of the traditional stuff like Iron Maiden, Manilla Road, Dio, Megadeth. My favorite forms of metal are Viking metal and Folk metal.
