I spent many sleepless nights studing for physics/algebra/calculus exams in my years at university.... that was many many years ago

i found this site and the memories came flooding back.

:lol: I've used the "expand" and "find x" solutions on my final exams before... I've made bad excuses (elephant) on other assignments, but never exams.

but i'm surprised that they didn't just jot down SOMETHING for partial credit...

The Elephant - When asked to do something, draw a big elephant on the page and say you can't because an elephant is in the way.

well, sometimes these questions were worth 20 points...or like 20% of the test. even if you didn't get the answer right, you got partial credit for setting the problem up right. It's funny how hard i worked in these classes, and i'm not using the stuff i was supposed to learn.

isn't 'x' 5?
