I received an offer via my whois privacy.

Dear sir,

We are interested in your domain, we REFUSE to pay any more than 75.00. What do you say? Let us know when you want to start the process.

Thank you
Communi xxxx Inc

If I was submissive, this might turn me on..

What would you say?

The domain in question is c o m m u n i c a t i n g s k i l l s dot com

I would say no thanks, that's not very good communicating skills you used to make that offer.

I think its unprofessional and unless strapped for cash I would send them a rather sarcastic reply making sure to thank them for their generous offer.

LOL :sold: that's a good one, especially considering what the domain is

My reply would be something like

Dear sir,

We have considered your offer and have decided that we would not be willing to sell this domain for anything over $53.

Thank you

.

Sell if You Need the Money

The more accepted term is communication skills. So I'd sell it if you need the money. It is possible, however, that the prospective buyer would be willing to spend more money. But then the question becomes what is your best alternative to no agreement. In other words, if the buyer goes away, then what will you do? So, if you need the money and a non-sale would hurt you, then sell right away.

You should at least counter with your lowest acceptable selling price. Who knows, they might change their tune.

I wrote back:

Dear Commun xxx Inc,
Thank you for contacting me but I would like to communicate that I would like $233.54 for the domain that we are communicating about.

Thanks for communicating with me!

Owner of domain

Yes I was feeling a bit frisky as I have had other inquiries looking at offers higher than 75.00

I would reply " I can see why you would be interested in this domain as your 'Communicating skills' are not quite up to par!
Should you wish to properly negotiate a deal for this domain then I am willing to listen. After all, communicating skills are essential in running a successful business."

I think they are just jerks or also resellers..

Dunno though, I don't like being talked down to though.

tell them it is $76 - too bad since they refuse to pay more than $75.00

:imho: don't waste your 2 minutes of replying.
don't reply at all and move on to a more serious one.

you're the owner you dictate the price, not someone else you don't know.
it's based on your research and the development poured in the domain.

It's very possible that they know about your current financial situation. They probably figure you're desperate and looking for a quick sale. Glad to see you're pulling out of the crisis.

Take the $75. You need that money to pay at least one night of hotel, don't you? Besides, that's not bad for a domain less than one month old. In fact, I think it is worth less than that. You could also try to sell it to Rebecca.
