This Guy Impresses Me..

I'm not much of a Christian or churchgoer, but Joel Osteen really, really impresses me as the "real" thing.. I would really love to visit the Lakewood Church and meet this guy.

Yes I believe he is the real thing, very inspirational and seems to live what he preaches!

He seems to be alot like Dr. Schuller in his approach.. lots of positive thinking and affirmation.

He does seem to be the geniune article. It's that smile he has. And his style of preaching is superb. If I see him on I usually get hooked until a commercial break at least. It's also nice he doesn't delve into politics.

I can only agree with you.. notably he had no experience in preaching whatsoever prior to his dad's death.. he managed the church business and only took over after his dad died. I'd love to meet him and I don't say that about many people...
