I think that can have value in the article outsourcing industry or in journalism in general.
The pool of potential buyer seems to me quite big and the domain is short and memorable.
I would price it mid to high X.XXX, but my judgment may be biased due to the fact the domain is mine.

What do you think?

No hypen, I added the "/" in order to avoid this thread being indexed on google.

My private appraisal tool says $224.

And I also agree.

My reasoning is based on this data:

https://namebio.com/?s==YTMyQjN0kjM
https://namebio.com/?s==EjMyQjN0kjM
https://namebio.com/?s==kjMyQjN0kjM

mid XXX price to maximize STR
mid X.XXX price to maximize revenue in the long run

This domain can be appealing for some end users and there are some in the right side of the distribution that may be willing to pay this amount.
I'm not in a rush to sell, I will wait a couple of years and then drop the price if it will not sell.

That's alright, it is worth a try but I don't see it selling for more than mid xxx.

Edit: This domain expired a few days ago, I remember I saw it but it was below my threshold so I passed. The good part is that it definitely has value.

Going to give you more insight into the appraisal.

Your Namebio analysis is a bit off, cause you're missing a small but crucial thing. The singular is swapped.

The "article" term is not very strong, but it is still valuable if placed at first. If placed at the end of the name, it has to be the plural ("articles") in order to have good sales value. You have the singular. Hence why the tool has given this output. And I still stand by it. If I had it I'd price it at $299.

At the end of the day I think we agree. Just I think that the combo "this + word" can still be appealing to high paying end users. Maybe we have 2 different pricing strategies.
Anyway, thank you very much :) You have spent your time to evaluate and analyze an asset you don't own. It's not something very common, this is the power of the domaining community!

Thank you for your kind words.

Nah, it's no biggie. The domainer community is a helpful one, and I like doing this cause it comes from passion about domains.

Besides I do these rather fast (from experience) and tools save time. For example when I saw the domain originally (before it dropped) I already spotted the singular, it has become like reflex based in many cases. It actually takes more time typing usually than doing the actual research.
