I am a website developer and typically use WordPress. I installed a basic theme and a few blogs just for placeholders but I am thinking about doing something else with it like an eStore or a t-shirt brand. Help me decide what its worth and what I should do with it!

Hi Kelly,

It's somewhat brandable, but realistically, this is a reg fee domain.

Good luck,

Sorry bud, definitely don't think this is the name to use for an eStore or t-shirt brand. Especially if you don't already have a business plan drawn up around it.

Kind of off topic, but I also would advise against starting a t-shirt brand. I know so many people that have tried, and an equal number that have failed. Just my 2 cents..

It would make for an interesting religious blog site, certainly. There are some decent religious affiliate programs out there for an affiliate site ( there's one on Shareasale.com that Andy Rodriguez used to promote that was pretty good ) . Maybe a content site discussing Jeremiah, then promoting amazon books. As a value, for a direct sale to an enduser, that's a hard one. There are numerous books written about Jeremiah, so maybe an author looking to promote his book? Other than those three uses, as someone's personal blog about their religious journey, a platform for promoting an author's book, or a content/general info site about Jeremiah with a couple of affiliate programs thrown in, I am drawing a blank.

If I had the domain I would probably develop as a content site rather than try to sell.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, these are some great responses. I agree that without a business plan, the t-shirt or eStore would flop. If I were going to do anything with it I would put a real plan in place and execute through to the end, including an exit strategy.

I like the idea of a content based affiliate site but books do not have enough profit for me to get involved with, especially with such a small audience. If I could come up with about 8 months worth of content that I could drip-feed through auto-responders and and also put together a few nice products that compliment (like a t-shirt line with slogans and mottos that were relative to the content, i.e., "peace, peace when there is no peace" type ideas than I might be able to make a few bucks. But with such a small demographic and market I just don't think it is worth my time.

I think I will just sit on to this one for a while...
