There Was a 5L Buyout in Feb

I just did a scan on some LLLLL.com patterns and saw that on Feb. 28th someone (Wu Feng: yumichong.com) bought up every remaining xxxyy.com, xxyyy.com and xyxyx.com (2 letter repeating) that didn't contain a V.

I think xxxxy.com and xyyyy.com were also bought out. I'll run a scan and will post what I find in the morning.

My last scan was on Feb 5th.

I noticed alot of XXXXY/YXXXX-type 5L.coms available in Feb as well which are all (or almost all -- I haven't ran a scan) taken now. It crossed my mind at one point to buy them out... Not sure if I would've followed through with it or not -- this guy bought em out while I was still considering the idea!

I grabbed about 150 of them back when LLLL were about to sell out, which is why I was keeping track of them in the first place.

10-15 of them are getting about 3000 uniques per month total, but its 90% chinese traffic and parked.com is barely paying .01 a click now.

I think there is a natural demand built in to anything that sells out =)

They are popular in China... bbbss.com has gotten over 5K uniques since June 1st.


aabbb.com pattern is completely sold out.

I just ran a couple scans. aaaab and abbbb patterns are also sold out.

I'll post whats left in aaabb, aabaa and ababa in the morning.

I believe all of those types were sold out a while back too (all those as in wwwXX.com names, such as wwwLP.com, wwwEK.com etc).

I remember running a scan for AAABB.coms a few months back and found only 1 available one which I regged instantly foreseeing this buyout. The name is GGGLL.com Today even GGGLL.net is already regged.
