domain thelimey.com - estibot has it at $11,000. Can that be right?

So I just snagged this because of its appraisal and low price.
But I just searched for the term on Google and it turns out it's a 1999 Film Noir flick.

So where do I stand, is this really worth $11,000 or at least good for traffic?

Looks like it has over 1700 exact goog searches, so if you do something with it - dev - you might scoop a little traffic. doubt it would get much more than a few views per month if only parked. Make a minisite about the movie and after 6 - 12 months you'll probably be getting 500 - 1000 uniques ++ per month and some adsense income.
undeveloped:
resellers - reg fee to mid xx
end user - depends on their use, doubt you'd get much $ for it. If the original creators decide they want the dn for some reason, you might squeeze a few hundred out of it. If it's not TM'd :)
But who knows. I did a comic book many years ago, before the internet age exploded. A few years ago I thought I might like that dn (it's an unusual name, not something that would be regged out of hand by anyone). It was taken, by a domainer, with an asking price on it. Ha. I don't want it badly enough to pay 1,200 for it. Or even 50.
If a creator of TheLimey wants the dn to do something with, who knows? But if it's been this many years...
Best to go the minisite route, if that's something you're into.

ive said it before and I will say it again. Estibot provides good information but not good $ valuations. this domain in no way is worth 11,000 i presonally cant even see it selling for more then 100

I probably screwed up. I've been into .PROs and scoring names I wanted to develop based on themes.

I made a little money parking the other day and I figured getting a domain with traffic would be the way to go. This had some age and rank and I got it cheap
based on the estibot analytics and the low price.

I got it to park it and make some bread, but now it seems like it will be more work to monetize than it's worth?

I mean how does this stack up in your mind vs. domains for parking? I'm trying to get a sense of your idea about volume and traffic and adsense. Is this way at the bottom of the heap, and I'll have to work my butt off to get a site build up traffic like reg'ing a domain from scratch, or does this have substantially more 'clout' that will help me build up traffic a lot faster?

I agree, and thanks for that. This is a domain I only got for traffic purposes, not to resell, and it was a bit impulsive at that, because I never wanted to be a 'The Limey' expert or source. Now I guess I have to go see the movie. Oh well, live and learn. I paid $15. :) I didn't expect to be able to flip it for $11,000 or anywhere near, BTW.
To me $11,000 meant that the domain has some traffic and clout on the net that make it better than a new reg.
