My concerns about this are the fact that leaderboard.com is also a golf site and it is possible you will run into issues because of that.

In terms of the domain name itself, it is devalued by having the word 'THE' at the beginning.

Development is definitely the way forward, but you might need to make a more general sports leaderboard site, rather than just golf.

I personally do not mind "the" in this name...It actually says what it is. Develop away and then let us know the end result.

Thanks Guys ... I went through the Trademark routine three or four years ago and was denied at the first step because of the guy who has a trademark on his LeaderBoard golf trainer. So the solution to that would just be to stay away from selling golf equipment. But if I were to put years into the site only to be shut down, well, that's why it's not developed.

I did have a site up for a few years and the huge majority of the visitors came for the funny pics and videos. With no maintenance at all the site drew 1,000 to 1,500 unique visitors per month.

Actually I've decided to sell it if I can get a decent price. Any thoughts on dollar value?

This really is a "development" domain. I'm just not sure who to reach out to sell this name. Maybe an enduser will come to you...

As is I think the right person would pay low/mid $xxx for this 10 year old domain with some traffic.

An enduser may pay low $xxxx for this name...the problem is I don't see who that may be.
