I recently got this one, and I heard they're making a movie about it. Any ideas on its worth?

Hmmm Does that really make it safe? I mean, it may have been abandoned for a title but the character itself must still be trademarked, right? If so, I'm thinking that they (the TM owners) could file claim over this domain. I don't see how they couldn't. BUT if it really is safe, it might be decent to use for selling the movie once it goes out on video. For now, it's not worth much.

So if it is not related to the movie, would you have the problem? I thought if CuriousGeorge is TM, then the CuriousGeorgeXXX would also be a problem no matter what the XXX is.

It's my understanding that as long as I don't use Curious George in a way other than NOT in the entertainment region, specifically with this film and subsequent DVDs/movies, then I'm fine. I'd not be able to sell books on there, for example, or t-shirts or anything, as those are indeed still trademarked.

Either way, I'll make a site out of it, set it up, and if it works out, great, if it doesn't, it's fine. It's all fun, anyway.
