That was before WIPO consistently included representative information in UDRP cases. That was one of my earliest cases and the first case in which I received an RDNH finding from a panel.

Deutsche Welle did not really need this domain name.
Their service is "Germany's state radio/TV for free". You don't need a fancy name/brand for it. There is no competition.

But they have a lot of money (from taxpayers) that they need to spend.
