The unmanned rocket was blasted off at 11:27 p.m. (EDT) from Virginia -- I could see it from my yard in Pennsylvania.
It was awesome -- It looked like a shooting star, and surprisingly close, brighter than I expected.
I love anything having to with space and rocket launches.
I have seen two shuttle launches (one at 4:00 a.m from a friend's yard in Titusville, Florida, and the other a daytime launch, viewed from Daytona Beach).
I just love this stuff.
