Namepros chat has died and been replaced with a thread. Why do you think it has died?

It’s received more posts than the new website announcement thread, which is the most popular discussion thread of the month.

And that’s with zero visibility of chat except a single link in the nav bar.

If we allowed the thread to show in other places, such as New Posts, the sidebar, etc., then it’d probably be 10-100X more active.

But yes, improving chat is on the to-do list.

Many things are in progress.

i too disliked anything redemo posted...imo though chat has a better chance of returning than redemo

The chat is different but high traffic. I would like to see live auctions on namepros perhaps in a new chat somehow
