It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
AfternicAfternic
And this was already posted, but I can repeat...

From what I see and including own experience:
Majority of .PROs are selling within $500-$2K range...
Strong keywords - up to $5K...
The best - up to $25K...

Surveyed all the legacy non-COM gTLDs (31,496,397 domain names) in May 2019. The results are still going through the final processing but these are the preliminary results for .PRO

Content: 11.07% (Signs of development)
No Content: 42.52% (Hold/Not Found/PPC/Sales etc)
Templated Content: 1.27% (Landers/affliates etc)
Redirects: 21.56%

10.13% of sites redirect to HTTPS version.
13.75% are PPC.
2.01% are sales.

Content, redirects and some other categories are still being processed but the above gives some general indications as to the state of the gTLD web usage and development.

A few .PROs which were sold by me in 4F range - still at parking or registar nameservers...
Many buyers purchase the domains just to have or redirect them... and/or to develop in future...

I work with WHOIS daily...
Per my observation, no more than 20 domainers actively invest in .PRO

Regarding fake bidders at Dynadot...
Since last weekend Dyna requires min $100 balance to bid on backorder auctions...

Yesterday I have contacted https://www.logicboxes.com/support/
Long ticket... but finally they removed my former ELB domains (Dec'2016-2017) which were abnormally renewed again and again by Magic.fr
This also helps to stop the various email reminders from LogicBoxes... even for those former ELB domains which are available...

Is it possible to contact .PRO owner? the only service to dig into .PRO registry seems to be https://whois-pro.com and it emits only the "name" - no email, contact form, etc

Check registrar's whois-server directly to get the contact details... no other way.
On Linux it can be done like that:
whois example.pro -h whois.namecheap.com

So $2.06 at Namecheap is the lowest again...

So it is only a problem, at either place, depending on the parking service you use? I have some .me at NC and a few .pro at NameCOM, in all cases pointed to Undeveloped, and all seem to remain active.
Looks that parking service doesn't matter...
Just found today EBET (not mine) which is blocked on Undeveloped nameservers.

I don't know the niche but notice there is a company by that exact name so maybe they complained to registry rather than try to win a UDRP? Does that sometimes lead to blocks? Of course begs the question if a registrar allows registration, a registry allows creation, how can it be logical to block it on a service without infringing content or ads.

Bunch of my Namecheap domains (as was described on the previous pages) were blocked by Afilias without any real reasons... And I spent over 1 week to unblock them.
I can't add anything.
