It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

I honestly would recommend purging these domains from your registrar account immediately.

This will prevent any brief moment of weakness from causing their renewal. Then turn your attention to the only viable gTLD alternative and join the petition to eradicate this thread along with the entire .MOBI forum. (())

I bought a .pro yesterday because I'm an adventurist but I don't expect to profit from it. I most likely will not buy another because it's an uber risky investment.

Just shows you how pro is used often in advertising. Great marketing word!

Because it's Ultra Brandable.
And certainly this information helps to find potential end users and to calculate reasonable price.

Think about it for a minute... if people could register LLL.pro, would REGISTRY be AUCTIONING them off in "official" auctions? No, right? And if you could register, 100% would be taken by now, maybe some even by MicroGuy.

Thats right, you can't register them. Registry releases them whenever they feel like it so we can fight over those domains.

I'm sitting on boxes of money from Pro sales. I'd elaborate if Mguy wasn't around. And Greg had the same opportunities that we all did, but he wouldn't listen. And still he'd rather scoff than make money. Maybe he doesn't need any.

Picked up(bo) 2 great pro names :

Mechanics.pro ( .mobi version sold for 7,5k some time ago)

CarSales.pro ( over 1mil [exacts], the .com sold for 400k in 2007!)

IMO both fit .pro and I wouldn't drop these keywords on such a proish extension, right MicroGuy?

Strange enough, I snapped telephones.pro in May 2010 for just $49. Maybe I should try to sell it more aggressively. :blink:
