It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

check the search stats - but brochure.pro is great, nice and brandable for a big online service.

chairman.pro i'm less sure about who the buyer would be.

----------------------------

i'd love people's thoughts on some of my recent pickups:

Couriers.pro

BudgetTravel.pro

ArtSchools.pro

GuitarTabs.pro

I'm planning on developing the last three and holding a while before selling

I like brochure.pro, good business potential!

I purchased Certification.pro from Vincent's .pro auction thread.

Any comments on why Carpets.pro and Fabrics.pro were available for so long?

how are .pro with the search engines, if anyone has developed?

and how much are you guesstimating/banking on renewals being in the next year or so?

Andrew: Cheers for that explanation (previous page) that makes complete sense and is a great view from the marketing angle (If/when I am looking for a sale). Diamond.Pro is a absolute cracker.
Few more I picked up are
#EDIT#
which I had already. I agree with Mwzd there are still fantastic keywords going to auction. It looked a tense one last night..

beljf123: New to the pro market but cant honestly see much value in aaaa.pro sure this may work for a review site but theres still better words to use than this. Why explain what your site means when someone could tell from the keyword. Although I look forward to being proved wrong.

I'm interested to hear peoples experience of marketing .pros to end users? Have many people heard of them? And if not how to you get round this?
Although I'm noticing from a few domains I was looking to reg that they are getting picked up by end users (spatial.pro for example.)

anyone else worried about having lots of .pro names, renewals going back up to $100 a year, and no end user sales?

i didn't mean to alarm anyone - but i just wanted to say do we know for sure they're staying low??

and are people planning for the possibility they're not?

Well, the renewals will be 39.99 or 59.99 so I am not sure how much higher they can go unless they really really want people to start dropping those .PRO.

I have a question guys, lets say a .pro domain "expired" today on December 1st. How many days from now does the domain officially drop and is available for me to register assuming the person who owns it doesn't renew?

Good question, I would like to know the answer to this as well, how long does encirca wait before it deletes the expired domain?

Thanks
