It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

This is due to their $2.06
So as outcome - they have the largest share of .PRO regs... And the most attention from Afilias accordingly.
Namecheap >>> 3.06

As of today - $2.99 at Dynadot is the lowest I see...

How this year performs for you?
For me, 2018 was definitely better in terms of demand and sales... At least comparing Jan-Aug period.
In September I don't see any positive changes as well... unfortunately.

Please help evaluate the domain tele.pr0, received an offer of 3K on Sedo. To sell or not?
Thank you.

Try to negotiate higher... sell - if cashflow is critical...
That domain has 5F potential definitely.

Who transferred the expired PDR domains to 1and1 - change nameservers from PDR to your preferred NS...
Already have seen many such domains with inherited expired NS.

11 victims for me at Namecheap for the last ~100 days...
And I'm not sure that this number is final...

p.s. Looks like real war of Afilias VS Domainers...
I have detected 12th today.
My recent reg at Namecheap ~3 weeks ago...

12th case at Namecheap was relatively fast, spent ~1.5 days to unblock it.

Also NC team forwarded this Afilias reply:
the domain was listed by Spamhaus for spam activity on Sept 13th, 2019. The listing was removed on Sept 27th, 2019

It was regged on Sep'11 and parked @ParkingCrew

Just found ENVOY (not mine) with serverHold... was regged at Namecheap in June...
Parked @Sedo

I have rechecked ENVOY at https://www.spamhaus.org/lookup/
And as 95%+ of all other victims - it is NOT blacklisted.

So real nightmare with this trio Namecheap/Afilias/Spamhaus.
Even if Spamhaus adds and then (auto)removes the domains from their blacklist - it has no any effect on Afilias, which blocks in automode but removal of serverHold is manual only.

And all victims are (almost) always under Namecheap.
So don't register any domains there - the best solution to prevent such issues.

I see the only one realistic reason - some IP addresses are blacklisted by Spamhaus...
And when Spamhaus bot detects any domains on those "bad" IPs - they go to their blacklist (DBL) as well...
And then using Spamhaus DBL - Afilias bot blocks them (serverHold)... and Namecheap domains - their primary target.

I have asked Namecheap few times to investigate these issues deeply... to stop these continious troubles...
But from their replies I understand that their motivation is ~0, they can only communicate with Afilias regarding the already blocked domains and that's all.
And NamePros is also not interesting for NC... ZERO reaction... even their representative is absent here.

Namecheap domains - their primary target.
In other words - NC doesn't want to answer on the quoted question... why they have so low reputation in Afilias/Spamhaus eyes...
