The .PRO Discussion

[InvisionTech]

It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

IPOD.PRO (2015) - Apple...

+ KEYNOTE.PRO

[Jurgen Wolf]

Lowered to $5.17 at GoDaddy... but NameCheap with $2.06 is still the best offer...

>>> $7.17

Before 2018 German bidders were very rare on my .PROs...
This year I already received 2 inquiries from Germany...

lots of very good projects with .pro domains, for example:
http://production.pro/
https://findface.pro/en/

buy.* and sun.* were sold today at SnapNames backorder auction (quite cheap).

[Jurgen Wolf]

They were auctioned as EnCirca's expires...
Snap doesn't provide .PRO backorder.

Anybody know the issue regarding renewal on Alpnames?
I can't renew my domain. They already received my payment. But they say there is Unresolved Technical Issue...

[Jurgen Wolf]

AlpNames doesn't work with all Afilias TLDs ~1 year already.
Or Afilias doesn't want to work with AlpNames.

[Jurgen Wolf]

Transfer to another registrar...
CrazyDomains for example.

~2.5K netgain in February = ~283K

[Jurgen Wolf]

There are thousands developed domains...
Mainly - Russian companies...
I don't even post them... because too much...

Was dropped by someone... and picked up by German enduser...

[Jurgen Wolf]

Some startup (app) from Israel wants my GALA...

I have sold it for symbolic $999 as my Special Offer for this buyer...
Already paid to Payoneer Escrow...

p.s. This is my 2nd .PRO sale in 2018...

[mpls]

I've bidded on micro dot pro, expired at namesilo. Unfortunately the owner have renewed it 2 hours before auction finish.
It seemed a good name.

[Jurgen Wolf]

Bidding is not even mandatory...
Because many good domains are available... I have over 1K in my todo-list... ))))
